The graduation comic I drew for my school newspaper, for the last issue of year. I’ve only had the chance to get two of my comics published, but I’ve really enjoyed the opportunities!

Since everyone in my grade has grown up with Dr. Seuss books, I decided that it was only fitting that I use one of his rhymes. I’m not confident enough to use my own writing to convey such a powerful emotion… not just yet. I’m very glad with how this came out visually, though! I tried many different compositions for this particular comic.

Congratulations to anyone else who may be graduating. Class of 2013, cheers to you!

what did the mama pig give her baby pig for its rash?

pigs are commonly known for rolling around in dirt, but there’s a reason for this. Pigs skin is very sensitive, the harshness of their environment can result in rashes and often sunburns. Pigs use mud to help relieve pain and protect their skin. Since piglets are even more delicate, mother pigs will often roll their pigs in mud right after birth.
